Also agree.

But.

And before I say it, let me say you can't compare apples to oranges, etc. Different time, conditions, cutlure, etc.

But.

What would Paul Anderson have done with today's gear?

C'mon. Don't argue it, just imagine it.

I say (with the best gear, monolift, etc.):

1,800 squat
1,000 bench
875 dead

Guy over at the Olympic forum said Anderson was a human hydraulic jack. Very true and well said. Especially in the squat.
