I love the Olympics.

Forget the goofy rules and the goofy sports like table tennis and synchronized anything; I have seen some incredible things over the years.

I saw Vasily Alexeev blow away the competition.

Eric Heiden was probably the first person I ever saw doing squats and man he had some humongus legs.

Got to see Teofilo Stevenson box and the Miracle On Ice where the USA beat the Russians... in HOCKEY.

Saw Carl Lewis and Jackie Joyner Kersey at several Olympics

Saw Mark Spitz and now Michael Phelps.

Saw Nadia Comenich, Mary Lou Retton, Svetlana Bogunskya and the Girl who won the vault with the injured foot.... can't think of her name.

At the end of the day, it's about the athletes and the competitions and whatever it is to drive them to be the best and it's freaking cool.

Almost lost it!
