It is the IPF that has applied to the IOC. It is not powerlifting. While you are all arguing whether powerlifting should be in the Olympics, IPF officials have already made several presentations to the IOC. The IPF is already an IOC affiliate and there will be an IOC vote on full acceptance this November. The IPF will be the only powerlifting federation recognized by the IOC. No other federation can possibly pass meet IOC qualifications.
