Brad if you go to Jon Coles website (google Jon Cole powerlifting) then click "The Jon Cole System link" you will see photo gallery, click that and you will see pictures of Jon...check out him leaning on the 45lb plates, YA! 22inch arms.

I'm from New Jersey and when i was 20 i competed in Olympic Weightlifting for "Surf Brakers Club" 198lb class (press 280lb, snatch 230lb, Clean &Jurk 325lb)1971'was my first year. I know all about Phil Grippaldi and his HUGE! arms...got to see Bob Bednarski too...they were GREAT lifters.

Jon Cole was a good athlete, very fast and a good thrower too, but seeing him lift like an Olympic lifter GEEZ! it wasn't his thing, wasn't smooth in the technique...but GREAT AT POWERLIFTING!

I don't know anyone that could do a tricept curl lying down on a bench and take 315lbs off the rack (olympic bar) and with a close grip thumbs touching, then bring the bar down to the bridge of his nose, then tricept it back up..the guy was something else when it came to lifting, you didn't bet against COLE!
Mike
P.S I think Tom Manno might see Jon Cole around Scottsdale Az...Jon is a hard guy to track down.
