Our estimate of lifters in a given year who lift in sanctioned events is between 15,000-20,000 assuming a three year period add about 5,000 more. This does not take into account the Texas HS PL program as an example, nor non sanctioned events. For some reason most HS PL's don't go into sanction events during that time and little carryover later.
