Les,

It was kind of a shame that Gary didn't get his WR snatch officially recognized. . . . He's one helluva lifter, (ex USA World Olympic Team, etc.)and OPENED with a WR !!!

I made mention of Gary's dilemma to my wife. We have been thinking for quite some time now about becoming USAW certified National Referees, and now seems like the appropriate time to get this done. . . . Hopefully by the time autumn rolls around, I can furnish two "Blue Blazers" for judging. . . .

I've also been wanting to own a Certified barbell set, which I think I'll make happen. . . . . I'm considering the Werksan set, and I've heard some good things about the Pendlay bar. Is the Pendlay bar certified for OL ?

I think Spoon Barbell Club is going to host a meet sometime in the September - October time frame, and Tom always sanctions his meets, so we may have an opportunity there. . . . . But I have to warn ya, I'm strict as all getout! LOL . . . If ya don't finish with the bar and your feet on parallel planes, I'm gonna red-light ya . . . LOLOL (laughing) . . . :-)

By the way, I ain't doing Seven events again!!! I'll stick to two (OL) or three (PL), but that's IT . . :-)
