The strongman does not test for roids, you say this is a powerlifting forum so nobody is going to know who the top 2 bodybuilders are in the drugfree olyimpia, but how many on this board knows who Cutler, Ron Cole, and all the real top bodybuilders are? Not all the all time records are a joke, even the ones that shouldnt have been passed are noways near as bad as most of the usapl, and other feds say they are. For example, Swansons 600 pound bench was a good strict lift, Jeff lewis's 1200 pound squat was a good strict squat, all of Garry Frank, Andy Boltons and several others have been known for their strict lifts. Jessie Kellum, Steve Goggins, Ryan Kennely, Vogerpol, Donnie Thompson, hell I could go on and on with name after name of world class lifters that have set all time records with good strict lifts. Gene Rychlack the list gos pretty deep. I would say that none of these lifters or their records are jokes. As far as drug testing creating controversy, like I said watch espn, and listen to it. Controversy and slander is just that no matter how you define it. As far as how much carry over a man can get out of roids, yes ive heard 10% to but I dont believe it. There is no such thing as to what percentage a man can get. A smart user will get a lot more carryover than a dumb lifter will, like a smart geared lifter will get more carryover out of gear than a dumb lifter will. I respect any lifter of any level that competes no matter if they do roids or not. I just feel that single ply and drug testing creates a lot of controversy and exuses. Ethier you are raw or geared, or your clean or your not, but anybody that trys for a personal record is a lifter in my book. It take guts to try no matter how you do it.
