Is it just me?

Or would some of you have a problem with a bench-only competitor calling out a three lifter powerlifter in a meet (the guy does squat, deadlift, and bench). The bench only guy calls that person out and says,"Let's compete, I can take you"..Doesn't that sound absurd, and how can you compare the two competitors, one is only doing one lift, the other is doing all three lifts...Maybe, I'm close minded..It just sounds ridiculous to call a guy out like that when you are doing only one of the three lifts. It makes more sense for a bench only guy to call out a bench only guy.
