Everybody loves to knock the big benchers. So what he bombed, all big benchers bomb a lot. But the man has also had a lot of great lifts in his life time, like a couple of 1000 plus benchs, the all time raw at 715. The man is one of the greatest benchers of all time, no matter how many times he bombs. Anybody that knows a damn thing about powerlifting can tell you that a big world class multi ply lifter is more likely to bomb out than a class 2, not even on the top 100 list lifter is. The reason is they are there to rewrite the record books. Hell ive known class 2 lifters, that have lifted in 100 meets that have never bombed. But who cares.
