Liisa's Immigration Update. My nightmare continues *LINK*

I wanted to thank all of you who attempted to help get my wife back in the U.S. I am sad to say nothing has helped and as of now and it will take years. I have sent letters to my U.S. Senator, my Govenor, and just about everybody else I could think of.

I just can't believe how the USCIS can make a mistake and I have to pay the price. I am so imbarrased to call myself and American, you know land of the free. What a joke. I have been paying taxes since I was 17 and now I am 37 please tell me what's free. Please tell me where my hard earned money is going.

As of now, I am filing immigration papers to immigrate to Finland. I would rather see my tax money go toward a goverment who cares about it's citizens. I especially love the Road Home program we have down here in Louisiana. This is a program the Federal Goverment set up to help New Orleanians come back after the storm. Well, I never left. I lost my house and just about everything I owned. But I stayed and toughed it out and for what. Nothing. All I want is for my goverment to allow my wife to come here in a timely manner. A couple of years doesn't seem that long to them.
