Best lifter award for a single lift event

General question; Are "best lifter awards" justified for single lift meets? Looking for popular opinion. I usually lift in full power events and can understand the best lifter awards for full meets. In single lift events I have a hard time giving a best lifter award. I am looking for a popular opinion
