Now Jim, would you still think they were irrelevant if you was on the top, or near the top of the list? A lot of single ply drug tested guys make exuses for not being on or at the top of the top 100 list, or the masters, womens, or teen top 20 list, and yes a lifter is at a disadvantage on those list if he is single ply. But multi ply feds are open to all lifters so everybody has the chance to do at least one multi ply meet a year just to see how high they can get on the list. You really cant argue the drug exuse, because of all the carry over that todays gear gives a lifter, even your high and mighty ipf approved single ply gear, I really dont believe that drugs makes that much of a differance, anymore compared to the gear. But the bottom line is, the top 100 list, and the top 20 has been the goal for all powerlifters to see how high they can get on those list, before you, and they will be after you. If all it takes is double and triple ply gear, then go to a ipa, or apf meet, put on the gear and prove your point. Otherwise keep the mouth shut and stay on the porch. Lol!
