Mendelson to open with 308 class world record

At the ongoing AFPF Nationals in Plano, Texas, Scot Mendelson has weighed in at 306 and will open with 40 pounds over the present ALL Time best bench in the 308 pound class.

The lift will take place about 1 hour from now.

We had 10 lifters go over 700 in the squat. Ernie Frantz squatted 560#,weighing 193 and came very close with 600. Using the formula for age and weight, this will be the highest rated squat in history!

In yesterday's lifting, 100% President Paul Bossi had 25 lifters suit up for the Y-Raw Nationals, which saw 25 100% Raw records.
There were also 6 Olympic Lifting World records set.
