Are you really that ignorant of powerlifting training methods, drugged vs. drug-free?
Both types of lifters may do the same core lifts and assitance exercise but the main difference lies in the recovery rate, i.e. ability to lift heavier, longer and more often.
A drug-free lifter, as I am, choose to use many of the Westside training methods, such as, box squats, bands, boards, etc., but we can't do the same exercises quite as intense, as heavy and as often. Drugged lifters can can squat and deadlift 2-3 times per week, whereas, drug-free lifters tend to do those lifts once per week, except for maybe a second light workout day.
My training partners and I tried to do the Bill Phillips' 'Add 50 lbs to your bench' program, which was a 7 week program and it killed us. I revised the program, doing it over 14 weeks, and have found it to be pretty effective.
Drugged lifters can lift heavier, more intensely and more often than drug-free lifters. Period! Many drugged lifters train during the same week they're competing, even up to a day or two prior to the meet. Drug-free lifters rest 7-10 days.
So, quit spreading that crap. Besides, when was your last meet and piss test?
