He worked with me on my deadlift. He also helped me with a school paper I had to write on prisons. He said he would be glad to help me but I had to write to him at the prison first. He was not allowed to take anything back into the prison with him.

I lost track of him after I went into the Air Force but I think he got out in the late 70's or early 80's. He was living in Texas for a while but I think he is back in Wisconsin.
I remember the prison used to send a team to all the Wisconsin meets and all the prisoners were all very well manored and friendly. Never a problem from any of them. But then being allowed to get out to go to a meet was a privilege that had to be earned.
