Yes! Take your measurements with your briefs on for the best sizing.
And if you order a tight suit for a 220 then you will haver to buy another one when you're 250. I'ld suggest (like the above comments) that you order for your 250 weight and use the briefs for the extra support in the hips if you drop down to 220.
