Ah Hank's, memories, I started out there in, I guess 1977, in his old place that use to be a four bedroom house. He moved to his new place, where it is now, I guess around 1980. The best powerlifting gym in the world. He even had an area just for powerlifting with a black board with gym records, Hank had to see the lift for it to be posted.

He had the best equipment in any gym in the US. Dumbbell pairs up to 250, 4 squat racks. When Hank died, rest his soul, he probably weighed 150. He competed in Calif, weighing around 350, in the 70's. He hurt his back real bad and laid in bed for 6 months and when he got up and started to move around he weighed about 160.
Hank got me started building equipment with a partnership with him. At the beginning we lost our ass and Hank dropped out and I ventured alone.

I knew Hank about as much as any one and if anyone has any curiosities about Hanks and his gym ask me.
