Thanks for clarifying your understanding of statistics. That makes my part MUCH easier.... (don't understand the libertarian or Gore reference, but I'll go with it....)

I think that is wise. All I recommended was to look at how the statistics were gathered, etc.statistically speaking the argument that the mean global temp is going up has been made
Roger that. The debate is 1) how much, and 2) why?statistically speaking that CO2 has been going up over time has been made
Roger again. Again, I feel like this one's been beaten to death, but the CO2 increases precede the temperature changes. An event occuring after a deviation rarely causes the deviation.statistically speaking that CO2 correlates and predicts mean global temp with a specific confidence interval has been made
Can't roger that one yet, the jury is still out, both with the 10,000 climatologists you mention, the 20,000 the other fellow referenced, etc. The CO2 prediction thing, that's definitely not chiseled in stone as causal. Water vapor in the atmosphere tends to affect the temperature far more than CO2 concentrations.forget the politicians, forget john daly just look at the numbers and numbers alone
Again, how the numbers were obtained is equally important.Scott, as long as we stay civil, I am rather enjoying this debate. I hope at least you and I can continue civilly.
