Ken-an old friend

Ken,

You probably don't remember me, but I met and trained with you for a while in 1982 or so when you were going to school at Emporia State and lifting at Walburn's Gym. I remember the meet Steinacker benched the 650, I believe it was the same one you and Jim Bell traded the KS state DL record back and forth. I did my first meet that year.

I am still lifting and lifted in a couple of APF/AAPF meets last year at 242 and hit 688/457/562 at 48 years old and clean as a whistle. Have not taken up Strongman and won my first contest in the Masters age group. It must me a small world as I know JimV and judged a PL meet with him last weekend.
