Sounds like you need to sew hooks into your briefs. There is a thread seamstresses use that is nigh unbreakable. Have them sew the (thin canvass) hooks using this nylon(I think) thread. You'll be able to hook yourself to a monolift or gunrack type squat rack & use your bodyweight to slip into your briefs.
