Not sure about insurance, or anything like that, but maybe the "box" could be a stack of foam rubber blocks or something. . . . Each foam rubber block being about an inch thick, so the height of the contact plate could be adjusted to accomodate the highth of the lifter. . . . . So if ya get a kamikaze dive bomber, all he/she would do is compress the foam rubber and not his/her spine . . . . .

Just a thought. . . . .
