Box squats are a popular form of training. . . . Perhaps during a contest, arrange a "box" of some kind where the lifter has to squat down, touch the box with his/her butt (perhaps making an electrical connection which buzzes a buzzer), and then comes back up with the weight (?) So, instead of an "UP" signal, the squatter just decends until he/she hears the buzzer, and then comes back up with the weight. . . . . Of course, the box would have to be adjustable for height. . . .

Regards to all, and lift safe,
Jim
