DR.JUDDS ARTICLE

I just dint get it.Every month it seems PLINGUSA is publishing some kooky article bashing gear.This month we have DR.JUDD jumping on the band wagon.Ive given up arguing about whats legit and what isn't,but what really bothers me is the outright hostility towards the gear manufacturers.

This tiny sport has almost no corporate sponsors.The few guys who actually care about the sport are the gear manufactures.Guys like John Inzer have kept this sport afloat by themselves for years.Ask any meet promoter who are the people who get behind the meet and help you out,the answer is always guys like Inzer or Pete from Titan.Yet,every time these anti-gear nuts write an article they want to bite the very hand that feeds the sport.

Guys like Judd pretend to really care about the sport of powerlifting and how its perceived by the public,but its guys like Inzer or Ernie Frantz who put their money where their mouth is.What has Judd done for powerlifting besides write silly,smarmy articles every month?Inzer has been helping promoters and lifters for years and years as have the other gear makers.There is no sport without those guys and yet,we have goofs like Judd who want to eliminate a huge part of their income.I dint get it.Is trying to get this sport into the Olympics[which shouldn't and will never happen]worth slapping the John Inzers in the face by taking a bite out of their business?Not to me.I will take the Inzers or Petes or Ernie's of the powerlifting world before some moron over seas who will try to dictate what direction our sport should take.More gear,more gear manufacturers let the Inzers make the most innovative gear available and get rich in the process[at least someone should make some money off the sport] and let the Judd's cry over their lost power careers and public perception of the sport.
