What Federal funding for PLing?

Dont know where the information came from, but "schools across the country" do not get federal funding to prevent obesity. School lunch programs are (somewhat) nutritionally balanced for students, but that can be skewed. The ONLY funded part is for the Free and Reduced Lunch Program, and that the ONLY way that thing fights obesity is by feeding kids once or twice a day.
The programs schools are using for any fight against obesity are done by the state.
The President's Physical Fitness test is federal, but you have to apply for it and spend your own school money for the awards.
