Hey Lisa!

The USPF allows the monolift but without using the swing arms. I think using the monolift is fine if that is all a meet director has. My issue as a meet director is I travel up and down the State of Calif from Sacramento to San Diego doing meets once per month. The guys with monolifts like Bob Packer, Ted O'Neill and Mark Bell don't travel and won't take their monolifts out of their gym. I don't blame them. The thing is a pain in the ass. So Lifters come to them. I'm the only one that travels. I have offered Ted to come over to Modesto Junior College gym and have a big UPA meet but he doesn't want to move those monolifts. Nobody wants to move them very far. Everyone including Bob wants to stay in their local area. I think its good enough to have the monolift at the WPF Worlds. That works.
