Yes my agenda is for the MONOLIFT to be used in accordance with the WPF rules so our lifters can compete against the World Teams that have experience using this lift properly. I ALSO support, as Steve Denison does, the changing of the Bench Press commands to align with the WPF rules.......This is just plain common sense.

Well Mike there are many in the USPF who support this descision..but not all these gentlemen are Internet regulars..but let's talk about a few in the USPF who are also meet directors where this hits home both aesthetically and financially...How about Nick Busick...who has a Sterlig reputation between all feds andhas USED the Monolift in his WPF and USPF Meets...How about Tim Bruner who puts on meets and even has a Powelifting Federation in Texas who endorses the Monolift....and please don't criticize Tim's Knowledge or skill as a lifter...they are beyond reproach...How about Dave Jeffrey???..believe me I don't use his name lightly...Dave is the President of the USPF, and only post's on Internets rarely....How about Ed Horton...Meet director and USPF Executive Committee member...How about Dan Lass ..USPF Executive Committee Member...How about Dave Kyle..USPF Technical Officer and Executive Committee member...How about Ted Isabella USPF Executive Committee...Multiple National Champion and President of the Mass-Rhode Island Powerlifting and HOST of the UDSPF Nationals for 2008 !! .If you go over to PowerLifting Watch you will find all sorts of lifters in support of the MONO...In fact there are a SH***T load of lifters from other Feds that use a Mononlift that are anxious to have a chance to compete in Single-Ply, and would love to not have to change Squat apparatus'...So.......You see?? There is compelling evidence in support of this descision.
