The Lifters HAVE been heard Steve....LOL!!....That rumbling sound you hear outside your door is a Monolift being rolled to the lifting platform...Hahaha!!
I suggest if you want to institute a referendum then you are 6 mos late.....But if you remain convinced of this course of action, you may want to begin your campaign with the Executive committee...who are able to vote and even bring up this topic again. Then in June of 2008 you will have your chance to present your case.
But how fair do you think it will be to all the other members of the USPF who are excited about having their say if you dominate the landscape with your peculiarities at the expense of their's??
We are a Federation that is OPEN and FAIR above all...We publish our rules ...We express our feelings with USPF Policy in the open without fear of reprisal...We have diverse Forums to provide avenues of discourse....We prove by our actions that lifters can be judged fairly and without bias or bending of the rules in the USPF.....this is what we are about...this is what will continue to move the USPF FORWARD instead of BACKWARD!!....
We want to preserve the vote that already took place without tainting the veracity of the process....New lifters will just think the the USPF changes it's mind as the wind changes direction.... "in hoc signo vinces" ...[in this sign (USPF) you will be victorious!]
