I never dogged on geared lifting. But if we're going to revisit this I think what is really happening is geared lifters (you) try to pass off a superior gearless bench (500lbs) as common to make their geared lifts look more impressive. Some people are impressed with the geared shit some aren't. I'm usually mute on the subject. But if you're going to say that 500 is common we have to define "common." If you think 500 people (at the most) total in the USA is common then I guess we can agree. I doubt you have benched 500 gearless 1000's of times. I know you don't care if anyone believes you or not but it just illustrates the trend for those who bench a lot in a shirt to lay claim to something large gearless. In itself that's not a big deal but to say how easy it is without ever being willing to prove it is pretty gay. My suggestion for those that hate criticism is to just shut their f@ckin' mouths about what they can do gearless if they honestly don't give a shit about gearless.
