Yes I do have a ggod arch. No your opinion never pissed me off. No I do not count, bouncing, people touching the bar, or butts coming off the bench. But sinking, or arching is not against the rules. I agree that a flat bench is impressive, but This is powerlifting and they rank you by the amount of weight that you lift, not on opinion. The trick to lifting as much as possible is to come as close as you can to breaking the rules, for the sake of leverage. Yes if I see somebody hit a big bench with a flat back I all ways say man that was impressive. I saw Laura Phelps bench 450 at 165, and that is the first thing I said was, man she even done it with out much of a arch. The bottom line is, as long as its done by the rules it counts. Anything else is just opinion, and opinions dont matter, big lifts do.
