Am I the only nut?

That thinks a lifter who attempts a "WORLD RECORD" then that lift should be judged even more "tight" than a regular lift?

I am not talking about a kid who is a Class 3 lifter or whatever but when ever a record is being attempted then the judging should be the most strictest. Not too long ago It use to mean something to set a record? NOT TODAY!

Better yet why even keep score? Then again why even weigh-in. Perhaps we all should just show up and lift and have everyone leave happy! I saw on Bravo where a prison was holding a power meet and just a select group of guys lifted and so they were the only ones that set records? It reminded me of powerlifting today.
