2300 raw?

1972, Jon Cole, 905-580-885=2370. I assume he had knee wraps and that was it.

1975, Don Reinhoudt, 934-601-885=2420. That year it was NO knee wraps and a nylon singlet.

you also have to remember that those were the days when a squat 1/2" high got red lighted. I watch the DVD of the 82 USPF Senior Nats and stuff gets redlighted and u watch it 2 or 3 times and still cant tell why, lol

Look at Dons numbers...look at Vlads...on bench and dead, even WITH gear, Vlad beat Don by only 69lbs. So the main difference is the squat. What could Don have done with monolift/canvas/and a couple inches to play with?

in any case, a 925 dead is very impressive

If these guys lifted under some of todays judging youd have to inflate those numbers quite a bit
