1972 - ● IPF formed during World’s – Bob Crist, 1st Prez, with Hoffman as Treasurer. Seems apropos, as Hoffman put up most of the operating money. Oddly, the IPF first incorporated in Texas!

The 'World's' reference is to the 2nd AAU World. IPF 1st World was '73.
