A lift is impressive, or it isnt !

With all the crying and complaining that go's on on this forum, and in just about any gym were a bunch of lifters discuss powerlifting, about who can lift what and where. Raw single ply, double ply, the wpo, apf, uspf, usapl, or the ipf. What the hell does it matter, either a lift is impressive or it isnt. If a man does not know the differance from one fed to the other, from raw to gear then his opinion shoudnt even matter. There is idiots out there that claim that Mendelsons 715 raw bench wasnt really a raw bench because he was wearing wrist wraps! I mean for example, if a man benchs 500 pounds raw, then who really cares, that is a good bench but guys have been benching 500 raw for years. But if a man is benching over 600 raw then that is worth wrighting home about. The same for the lighter classes with the lighter weights, if it has been done by differant lifters for 30 years or so. Powerlifting is never going to have any respect as long it has all these wimpy exuses. A lot of lifters dont like raw lifting, but only a idiot wouldnt be impressed with Mendelsons 715 bench. A lot of lifters dont like the ipf, but only a idiot wouldnt be impressed with Siders 2600 pound total. The same for the wpo, it would take a dummy not to be impressed with Swanson, Bolton , or Ryan Kennely. These lifters are the best in the world at the way they like to lift, and it dosnt matter what anybodys opinion is. But it is a lot of fun to listen to.
