old school squatters

RDC once said he squatted 575lbs. at 148lbs. raw in front of ipf judges back in the 70's and he said he also did not know of any other lifter besides him to do the same as we all know thats probably true i never heard of any neither to do so which brings me to my next question what did RDC do raw at 165lbs. because i know there was talk abut the late great George Crawford back in the years of 1979-1980 about the time he did his world record squat doing over 600lbs.at 165lbs. raw. And in meets he did wear very limited gear which had pretty passive support. So i can imagine RDC was right up there with George Crawford in raw numbers if not more.
