I agree with you 100%. You should be able to do whatever you want to your body BUT I'd like to add that if you want to have the freedom to do what you want, you should not expect anyone else to pay for it when it goes bad.

1) If you choose to smoke and get cancer and can't afford the treatment and don't have insurance, go somewhere and die for free. There is no way my tax dollars should finance the treatment for your stupid choice. The surgeon general told you that shit will kill you.

Don't want to wear a motorcycle helmet? Fine, I support your right to feel the wind in your hair. Get in a wreck? Don't expect everyone else to support you. Hell, that ambulance ride is a grand alone. What we need is a bleed out law. No helmet - let em bleed out right there. Clean up on I-5.

Get hooked on heroin? Great - have a blast but why should I have to pay for your rehab and medical bills if you can't because you lost your job because you forgot to go to work because you were getting high?
