USPF Sanctioned
Single Lifts Bench Press and Deadlift Meet
"PUSH EM, PULL EM, PARDNER"
January 19, 2008, Saturday

Welcome to Tombstone, AZ, "the Town Too Tough to Die". This is the historical town where the legendary OK Corral Gunfight took place in 1881. It was quite a shootout between the Earp Brothers, Clanton, McLowery, and Doc Holliday. Stagecoaches run daily here, plenty of sightseeing and shopping to do, and many saloons around to get a drink to satisfy your thirst. Go to www.tombstoneweb.com and check it out.

We have had some unsanctioned meets in the past few years but this will be our second USPF Sanctioned Meet. It will be a Single Lift Bench Press and Single Lift Deadlift Meet scheduled for January 19, 2008, Saturday at Cold Iron Gym. It is open to men and women of ANY age, ANY weight and ANY state. To lift, you must have a USPF card. If you don't have one, they will be available at the Weigh Ins. Also, you must be 18 or over to participate. Picture ID will be required for all.

There are no AZ State Bench Press Records and only a few AZ State Deadlift Records in the Open, Submaster and Master Divisions. You must be an AZ resident to attain them. American Records will also be available to make or break.

After the Bench/Deadlift Meet, there will be a 2-Person Deadlift Exhibition which will be open to any two powerlifters who wants to show off what 2 people can lift together.
