I agree with that, however the when the whey protein market opened up it really revolutionized the whole industry, whey really caught on big time in the 90's. Our sales is 20 to 1 whey over our milk and egg protein products. Take for instance Optimum Nutrition, their product 100%WheyProtein for 5lb was costing us 23.00 wholesale, and we retailed it for 40.00, we've sold truck-loads of it. Now we pay 41.00 wholesale and suggested retail is 75.00, we will try to sell it for 58.00 or so, it will sell, but not even close to what it was in the past.
