I'm sure they only look at Active Duty Military (National Guard and Reservists only counted if on active duty) for these #'s. Our solders and sailors just don’t die in war. We have numerous deaths each year in training exercises, local operations, and cases that involve off duty deaths (Car deaths, shootings, and deaths by natural causes to name a few).
Jim your question is a little open ended. That’s like saying I plan to go fishing this weekend so does that make me a fisherman or work on my roof, now I’m a construction worker???
I keep this up and I can be every member of the Village People this weekend- LOL

My thought on the Divisions is that Fireman/Police/Military personnel are required to be in top physical condition to be successful in their jobs. That being said for them to train for their jobs it is not conducive for them to train as a powerlifter. I expect allot of response from this. But out of our top powerlifters in the sport how many can pass a military physical fitness test? (I don’t know if the Police/Firemen have similar tests).
