Martin,

I wasn't trying to offend anybody. As I said, Gordon is among the nicest of individuals, and there is not doubt about that...

However, I don't think you can speak in "absolutes" about any person. I happen to know of instances where Mike Ewoldsen and/or Tad Peters had the bar loaded before Gordon had called out the weight. In all fairness, this was in a loading system where 25K's and 15K's are not used. Nobody would expect Gordon to be as fast with that system, as the loading system he has spent decades running through that fabulously fast calculating mind that he has...

I happen to use the same loading system that Gordon is most familiar with, except that I also use 50K's, which doesn't change the math at all, as 1 Big Green Plate equals 2 Big Red Plates...

Bottom line, Gordon is a Great Guy, and no offense was intended. It seems that everybody is looking, these days, to turn a compliment into something offensive...
