Hi Frankie,

at the 2003 world's Gus asked all the lifters to vote on weather or not to allow double ply Rage/X, or Fury/F6's and the lifters voted not to allow double ply Rage/X or Fury/F6's. So this is not Gus's rule, it's the lifters of WABDL. The reason most guys voted against double fury/rage is because single ply is as good if not better then double ply closed neck denim.
