you are correct on several things, it was the indiana fair meet. (held inside a gym because he got kicked out of the fair) and a lot of people have done his meets as their first mostly because there is one everyweekend. but once they get started you dont see them come back and lift after making the jump to real Orgs. I know Palmer very well, and he was at the meet but it was not to lift.
I do not have a problem with him putting on these meets, i do have a problem with him turning these lifts in as LIGIT lifts because they are not! i could get my gym owner to put on a gym meet with no rules and turn them in, that is not the point and that is not powerlifting.
