We must all be proactive and take steps to protect our individual liberties. When political expediency is at stake, not even our own so-called advocates can be counted on to always do the right thing:

As for those other powerlifting-related matters - the government doesn't seem to recall the two-fold lessons of Prohibition and the never-ending "war on drugs": as long as a desire/profit motive for proscribed substances exists, people/purveyors will do whatever it takes to acquire/distribute said product.
