anything that divides the sport i am not a fan of....RAW powerlifting has not enchanced this sport but divided it...it has not helped promote it..only divide it......anyone can lift without gear at any meet if they wish...seperate meets and divisions for it only divides and waters down an already watered down sport......it has not helped any way...shape or form...only hurt it....the fewer the divisions the better competition it is and the more meaningful a win or a record is......there are so called world and national records floating around that could not even win a state meet 40 years ago....that is a sham........i am tired of a local article bieg written about someone who says i won 17 world titles but when i look at their lifts they could not even get a state record in
oklahoma......it makes our sport among it's peers as well as outsiders look very foolish indeed...time ot clean it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how is that........I support powerlifting......grass roots lifting is best......not huge meets with hundreds of "world and national" records being broken that mean nothing....
