Not fully correct. In order to set World Records the meet nneds to Be National or International. Must also have International comp. excpet for the National PL and Single Lift meets.
By this definition World and American records can be set at the AAU Nationals. And we expect many will be broken there !!
Both American and World records can be set as well in Orlando and Las Vegas. The only other meets that meet the requirements (beside the Nationals and Worlds) are the Internationals (Vegas this year) and the North Americans, Vista.
For equipped lifters lifting at Rick's meet, not only can the set records and have a great meet; but they also qualify for Orlando and Vegas.
