both are viable forms of competition and should be respected but both do not test power/strength because there’s never a true number one. If you're the fastest hundred meter sprinter you're considered the fastest man in the world. If they put you on a bike you could come in dead last but there'd be no arguments that you are the fast sprinter. If you have the biggest raw bench in the world, the guy who came in dead last could go put on a shirt and beat you by a hundred pounds and then claim to be stronger. Now there’s an argument as to who the strongest bencher is. This is the problem with our sport winning a meet means nothing as far as proving whose the strongest because there’s no continuity.
