There is no need to refer to him as poor guy, anybody that knows anything about powerlifting, can tell you that Coan has no equals when it comes to all that he has done, the man was ahead of his time for years, and never even wore tight gear. I can remember when he used to out total the 275's, and the super hy. at the ipf worlds, and his total was 200, to 300 pounds ahead of the number 2 spot on the top 100 list every year.
