I competed at the APA Nationals and bombed 4th time in 36 years. Let me make this clear I bombed, It was hotter than the hubs of hades and I shouild have adjusted my opener accordingly. I weighed in at 237 at 9:00 in the morning and weighed 231 at 6:30 when I got home. The announcer may be a bit lame but it didn't effect my lifting. I've been doing APA meets for years and will continue to do them, I'll add half a gallon of gater aide to my meet kit and will have at it again. I've lifted in other feds and when the air isn't working properly neither is Michael. We used to have a fair number of outside gym meets here in Florida and I should have remembered. Last years nationals were fine this years were a bit rough. My performance sucked but it wasn't Scott or the announcer, faulty air conditioning maybe but I could have dropped my weight and at least made a lift.
