How do you start a powerlifting team at a college?

Hello,
I was just wondering how you would go about starting a collegiate powerlifting team at a college? I go to McKendree College in Lebanon, IL. We have some really strong lifters. I think we could do decently at the collegiate level. I recently coached Beth Bushmire at nationals last week. We both thought it would be great for the college. We had a blast.

Any Info would help...
